Returning from their undersea temple excursion, Gina's group is met by Dr. and Mrs. Diggers, and they learn of the losses suffered in the attempt to rescue Britanny--including Grammy Brunhilda. At the Barbarian clan's cemetery, Gina learns of her maternal line's history, and Julia learns more about her parents from her father, Tsunami.
