Jackie Voyer is a high school student in Michigan who is happy with her normal teenager life, until something happens that makes it anything but normal. Nobody can find Jackie's best friend, Emily. She just disappears. To make matters worse, Jackie starts receiving threatening, cryptic messages and having horrible nightmares. Somehow, Jackie has to find Emily, even though she fears she's losing her own grip on reality.
