Georgia's Forests, 2004 in Bloomington, MN

In order to provide more frequent and nationally consistent information on the forest resources of the United States, the change from periodic to annual surveys was mandated by the Agriculture Research Extension and Education Reform Act of 1998. These surveys are part of a containing nationwide undertaking by the regional experiment stations of the Forest Service.
