Genetics with Nettie and Friends in Bloomington, MN

Learn about genetic disorders with Nettie and her friends. This is a children's picturebook (ages 5-8) focusing on the genetic disorders. The disorders covered in this book include: Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The genetics behind each disorder is explained. This book was written as my Honors Thesis to explore genetics in children's literature, and how that can encourage empathy growth in children.
