Fyrthorn: Book One of the Vildemark Chronicles

When one of her clanmates is stolen by the mysterious Enemy, the young dragon Ameyla takes it upon herself to rescue him. She seeks aid from the Council, an Alliance of Races formed during the devastating War, but it soon becomes apparent that they would rather hinder her than help.
