Unleash God commanded Moses to build in the wilderness. God is too big to dwell in a house made of stones, woods and cloths, and as a creator of all things he cannot be fed by man therefore he would not that man should sacrifice animals unto him, His purpose is "Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself" that is to say to men, "Provide a medium for me to dwell with you" or "Make me a channel for me to come down and dwell with you" or prepare for me a holy channel to dwell with you". God himself according to the above book of Isaiah is the Sanctuary, he gave free will to man and would not force himself to man, so he needed a willingly and holy channel to come and dwell among men.
