From Ashes You Rise

Fire and Ice just got a revamp, and Mirah Billings is about to find out. Mirah is an 18 year-old introvert with her head set in reality when all of a sudden a former graduate of her high school begins acting on some very peculiar plans right around the same time Mirah's best friend goes missing. Mirah embarks on a search for her friend through a forest resting on the outskirts of town. After being warned by a stranger and an old friend that this person was coming after her, too, Mirah dares to venture into the forest of pines only to end up facing a strange enemy possessing a most unusual power. Her life is forever changed when she awakens 44 years later and must face the reality that the world she knew in 1976 is not the same one she faces now, especially with evidence of worlds and abilities that no one, in her mind, could know of or possess.
