From Acorn to Oak Tree: Understanding the Christian Journey

Today, we are witnessing the symptoms of the world's steady spiritual and moral decline. Wrong has become right, self has become king, and violence, anxiety, self-medication, and indifference have become the norm. It is a time of profound need and opportunity for believers and the Body of Christ to rise in kingdom power and authority. Believers must be focused, intentional, and anchored in Christ to walk in peace, victory over sin, and host the presence of God. The Body of Christ needs to effectively co-labor with God to impact communities, and countries and become a global beacon of light for lost souls in a darkening world. To effectively support these growing needs, believers need to move beyond spiritual infancy to become mature, fully equipped children of God. After walking with the Lord for nearly fifty years, I learned the path to spiritual maturity is a journey with God through life experiences He uses for our spiritual growth and development. It is the road less traveled that often leads through difficulty and uncomfortable circumstances. It is a process of training and discovery arranged by God to develop faith, character, perseverance, and knowledge of His way of doing things. This process requires cooperation, obedience, and surrender. Those who complete their training are granted keys to His kingdom and resources. This training process prepares and positions them for the richest experiences of co-laboring with God. This book will provide a solid foundation for believers to understand their starting point and gain valuable insight into God's process of spiritual growth and development. Readers will learn about the Holy Spirit's role and how He empowers and guides them through this process.
