A coming-of-age story about friendship and love, loss and self-discovery, set in the vibrant metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur Maya Joseph, a Penang girl, dreams of becoming a writer. She is told she isn’ t suited to be one. Chong Mei Li, a stylish fashionista, dreams of creating a fashion empire.
