Nom Carver's village is ruined, burnt, destroyed by a great hivemind to the south of the world. Nom must now join with two strange scholars and travel across the post-apocalyptic world of the ancient Forbears to face the beast that set his home to the torch. Join Nom as he discovers a world of ancient technology, crumbling super structures, enchanted artifacts, and roaming gods.
