The United States relationship with China touches on an exceptionally broad range of issues, from security, trade, and broader economic issues, to the environment and human rights. This book provides an overview of the U.S. and China relationship, recent developments in the relationship, Obama Administration policy toward China, a summary of legislation related to China in the 113th Congress, and reviews major policy issues in the relationship. In addition, the book examines the major issues in the United States policy on Taiwan, Burma. Moreover, it analyzes the U.S. support for judicial reform efforts in Mexico and raises issues for Congress to consider as it oversees current U.S. justice sector programs and considers future support to Mexico.
