For You, For Me, For Evermore in Bloomington, MN

but for unknown reasons

never showed up.
Harris
made it a solo showcase by first recording on piano and then overdubbing his tenor. The spontaneous experiment worked quite well as
performed four originals, lesser-known songs by
Gershwin
and
Donald Byrd
and four standards. The music is thoughtful and melodic but has its fiery moments, serving as a reminder (to those who may have forgotten) that
