Crown Prince Eirian has recently discovered that his uncle, the Prince Regent, plans to have him assassinated before he comes of age so he cannot assume the throne. With a handful of friends, he sets out to stay alive long enough to be crowned king and deal with the crimes of his traitorous relative.
