Finding Three Good Men is an anthology of four shorter stories about Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. The titles of the stories are "Finding Three Good Men", "Leading the Blind", "Surprise!" and "In Love at First Sight". In "Finding Three Good Men", Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam goes to Meryton to set up a militia camp for the usual Colonel had the mumps and could not go. There he met the people in Meryton and he was there until his cousin Fitzwilliam Darcy arrived with the Bingleys and Hursts for an extended stay. The tale explains how everyone got along with each other and what we need to discover is did the Colonel's presence help or hinder any relationship between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet? In "Leading the Blind", Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy had an accident that left him mostly blind due to an accident. His father wanted someone to help his son get used to his situation so he talked to Mr. Gardiner one day who offered the aid of his niece Elizabeth Bennet. She agreed to go to the man's home and work to aid his son in becoming more used to his blindness. Does this help him or hinder him in the long run?In Surprise! Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy was given a note to take to Elizabeth Bennet in Meryton, but he failed to do it on the night of the Meryton Assembly dance. However on the next day he took it to her at her father's house at Longbourn. The issue at hand is would Elizabeth be able to do what Lady Matlock wished her to do and how could it be brought about? "In Love at First Sight" Mr. Darcy is immediately struck by the looks and comportment of Miss Elizabeth Bennet when he was at the dance in Mertyon. He could not get to her then but went to her father and asked him if he could call on her, which the man allowed him to do, but when the man asked for a courtship, Mr. Bennet refused to announce it to anyone. He had his own reasons but were they reasons that would benefit his daughter Elizabeth or would they not?
