Have you ever had something that you thought you couldn't live without? Not even for a day? For most children, it might be their mums, dads or even their pet, but for me, it's a little bit different. I have worn the same pair of flipflops since I was six years old. Every. Single. Day. I've seen the stares and heard the whispers, but these worn and battered shoes are my safety.
