One day, the gate to the zoo is left open...Flora nervously tiptoes out into the big world that she never knew existed. Flora begins her journey as a timid and awkward flamingo. However, throughout her journey around the world, and through the other animals she meets and adventures she has, she learns that her odd and imperfect beauty is much more interesting than she ever could have imagined.
