Feasts, Fasts & Appointed Times: A Concise Expository of Qadowsh Days and Worship for Yisrael/Yasharal

"The Feasts, Fasts & Appointed Times" represents much more than an occasion to "party and have a good time" (excluding the fasts). While there is no question that we should rejoice greatly on these days and, in the words of King Solomon, "eat, drink and be happy", this must not be our prime focus. Our Set-Apart Days are an opportunity to see and experience the importance of community and the oneness of our desire to serve the Creator. Additionally, these celebratory times bring to mind our shared heritage and experiences, both from the days of our Ancestors until our modern times.
