I'm not going to die today.
That simple phrase has been my motto for the last two years, keeping me alive during the apocalypse I never saw coming. Everyday the undead creep closer, their attacks becoming more frequent. I don't know how I've survived for as long as I have, but I count myself as one of the lucky ones.
Thankfully, I live safely behind the walls of my faction. Until I need to make supply runs to keep everyone fed.
When a routine run goes awry, death surrounds me in the form of gnashing teeth and a future too grim to contemplate. Evans, Anton, and Callum save me like avenging angels only to turn my life completely upside down.
