Facilitation Guidebook

Design the Work! Yes! This Guidebook is intended to support experienced facilitators who are engaged in the work of transforming the random process of "meetings" into the intentional process of "designed work." It is written based on the assumption that the reader will be designing and facilitating work and workshops. You will organize, plan, and catalyze the work to unleash the creative genius in a group of participants, helping them to achieve work of depth and higher quality than they otherwise would be likely to accomplish. It also provides frameworks, guidance, and support to help you and the participants achieve the very best results with the minimum effort. The concepts and principles presented here are based on what we have learned after more than 25 years designing and facilitating collaborative workshops of all types for organizations of all types and sizes, all over the world. And while this is written based on experience in face-to-face settings, much of the content is also applicable to facilitation of online collaborative work as well.
