This exciting sequel to "Eyes Of Emerald" begins on a hot summer day in Miami, with a young Sammy Chang saying goodbye to friends and preparing to leave following the death of his mother, Esther, who had always told him that his destiny lies in New York. Sammy boards a train in Miami, bound for New York, in what turns out to be an incredible journey, during which he meets many interesting people and makes important contacts who will aid him in his quest to learn about his family history and fulfill his destiny.
