This is a novel about a young woman named Vesta and how various life experiences inspired her to become a resilient woman of God. The story is based on the author's real life journey. The book is written for the author's children and grandchildren to have an understanding of the day and age she grew up in and how she was raised. She begins the story telling about Vesta's parents and the traumatic times they lived in when they fell in love and began a family. Although the story is based on real events names have been changed so the author could add her own feelings to her characters as she saw fit. A few pastors names were used to honor who they are.
