Dallas Gibson, along with four other eighteen year old's, have spent the past year preparing for their impending exile from the safety of their community. When plans don't quite work out and they find themselves at the mercy of a world they did not know exists, Dallas and her fellow Relegates must decide which world they want to live in. But what if the world they've always known isn't truly what they think it is?
