Veronica Paige has gone from the Country Club to low-income housing. Once a stay-at-home mom, she's learning to juggle a budding career in the legal field while raising her son and trying to find her place in society. When the law firm she works with lands a huge case involving an accidental death on a construction site she has a sinking suspicion things aren't at all what they appear.
