The US must immediately withdraw all troops from Iraq and instead massively increase other aid with particular emphasis on medical facilities. We must adopt a universal and uniformly applied set of International laws and apply them evenly and reject cynical Realpolitik. The allies should honour their commitment to destroy all WMD under the NPT and thereby encourage others to do so. Only this can prevent a nuclear holocaust. The true threats to humanity are nuclear proliferation and climate change. This book says that we must unite in the face of global warming and the coming catastrophe. Much of this book is still relevant today especially the support of Iraq in its war with Iran. This is rarely mentioned in the hostile treatment of Iran.
