A cube-shaped lamp cast in solid concrete, featuring the layered iris gesture that Devlin works with regularly in her large-scale kinetic installations. One face of the lamp is incised with a vertical light aperture, another of the artist’s recurring motifs; another is carved into a series of concentric circular voids. Scaled down from Devlin’s monumental rotating sculptures, the lamp brings elements of public installation into a domestic format. Produced in a limited edition of 20.
