Ero & Leandro in Bloomington, MN

The Associazione Musicale Giovanni Bottesini produced this 2011 stage version of composer Giovanni Bottesini's 1879 opera +Ero e Leandro , with a cast that includes Veronique Mercier as Ero, Gian Luca Pasolini as Leandro and Roberto Scandiuzzi as Ariofarne. The Orchestra Filarmonica del Piemonte and Coro Claudio Monteverde provide musical accompaniment, with Aldo Salvagno conducting and Bruno Gini serving as chorus master; Gregorio Zurla and Laura Borello co-direct for the stage. Zurla designed the sets and Stefania Barreca created the costumes.
