After Desert Storm I found it necessary to find away to clear my mind, I read many books on philosophy, religion, and post traumatic stress disorder. What I discovered was everyone dealt with stress differently, so I decided to write this book. When I was finished, I felt ecstatic and a feeling of clarity came over me. The emotions that were trapped inside me flowed out on paper in so many ways that gave me a feeling of perspective that I had been searching for. Each poem is an individual idea that helped me with my struggle with emotions in life. This book is simply my mind on paper, releasing the hopelessness and stress that I am sure most of us all feel from time to time. Whenever I feel hopeless, I read this book and it helps me to remember that life is both good and bad but ultimately worth enduring.

WHAT THIS BOOK IS ABOUT?
This book is a collection of didactic poetry created to inspire deep thought and connection with oneself to bring together an ability to build a foundation of clear thought. The world is mundane, harsh, and good all at the same time with unequal portions of each aforementioned situation for everyone. We struggle to make our dreams come true to find barriers at each turn and loose our wills to mundane, and harsh situations abandoning our good hopes from fear. Our greatest enemy always being ourselves, going to the other side of life with regrets of never trying our best to make humble dreams come true.
NOTHING CAN REPLACE A FEELING OF INNER PEACE
Nothing can replace a feeling of wisdom and knowledge in this world. Every philosopher does not appeal to every person; however, many philosophers can appeal to one person and in turn create a feeling of inner peace. I often realize in my life that one philosophy is good for some situations but not good in others. Diversity in your life gives you more options.
