This study examined the impact of tea farming on the welfare of farmers in COOPTHE SHAGASHA (2015-2017) in Rwanda. It identified key factors influencing tea farming, including plant type, soil composition, farm management, and farmer skills. Welfare indicators showed increased income (91.9%), savings (87.8%), housing improvement (89.2%), and better nutrition (89.2%). A strong positive correlation (Rs = .735) was found between tea farming and welfare, highlighting its significant role in improving farmers' livelihoods.
