Oak Shadow was the nation's best quarterback during his college years. Set to be a first pick after graduation he surprised everyone when he needed to take time off. Now two years later he's joined the New York Jets. All too eager to prove his name and skills are top of his game he's willing to do whatever necessary. Which made a night to attend a huge benefit an easy yes, but when his PR sets him with a paid date he has reservations. A reminder of what made him take time off in the first place. When Lake Reese shows up Oak leans into his role of dutiful date, not wanting the night to end he offers Lake a position she can't refuse.
