It is way easier to be the one who solves other people's problems. The one who other people turn to when they need something. It makes you feel important, special, needed. Like you actually matter. It is harder to be the vulnerable one, to show your scars and imperfections. To come out and say you need help...because, what if they don't care,and that perceived kindness, was all but a dream?
