Today's culture continues to negatively affect the way women view themselves. So much of what they experience, hear in music, see on television and in the media, among other things, have played a part. As a result, many women struggle with bitterness and brokenness because they believe the messages glamorized in the streets, in music and in their homes. When will valuing our women become a trend again? A much more positive outlook is necessary to change the narrative -- A message promoting healing, happiness, finding purpose, positive relationships, and overcoming mental illness is needed. Hence the Title Beauty 4 Ashes. As a health and wellness writer, who struggled with brokenness, I emphasize the importance of self-love and how to achieve it. Wellness is a necessary factor before anything else is obtainable, including purpose, sound relationships and love. This book, which is a compilation of my blog posts from charting my journey to wellness, is a book for anyone who struggles with self-love, healing, purpose, and mental illness.
