The early christian quotations from the OT are an important witness to the textual history and thus to the textual criticism of the first part of the Christian Bible. The Synoptic Gospels are of particular importance in this context, since diverse recensionary tendencies and textual forms of the Septuagint become apparent. The present study undertakes a fresh look on these interrelations.
