Dhammapadam: Bhuddha's Teachings in Bloomington, MN

Dhammapadam is one of the sacred literature of Buddhism. The teachings of Gautama Buddha are also known as Tripitakas of Buddha. They are Suttapitaka, Vinayapitaka and Abhidammapitaka. Among these five parts of the Sutta Pitakam, the Dhammapadam is located in the part called Khutaka Nikayam. Dhammapada in Pali language consists of 26 chapters and 423 sutras. It consists of sayings of Lord Buddha from time to time. Thus, it is a book of recitation and a book of oaths for Buddhists. Dhammapada is presented in many ways such as ethics & morals.
