Delayed Heart is a modern love story involving two close knit families in Philadelphia. The main character Callie finds love with a widower who has a six year old daughter. Through the meddling of her mother and his father, who happen to be next door neighbors, they fall in love. Callie's career interrupts their romance as she moves to California.
