Degree of Madness

Dr. Zachary Manchester, psychiatrist, is a loner who lost his wife and soul mate, Faith, in a tragic auto accident. As grief turns into madness, he turns his attention to Walter Ford, the one patient who will not follow Zachary's recommendations. Zachary becomes obsessed with eliminating Walter under the direction of Faith who now speaks to him from a portrait. But Zachary's boss, Justin White, is on to him. Justin has demons of his own and is unconsciously seeking redemption by going to great lengths with his gay son, Peter, to bring Zachary to justice. But now Zachary has in his basement not only Walter but Walter's wife and a gorgeous, young intern with whom Zachary has developed an infatuation, thus infuriating Faith, who commands him to greater heights of insanity.
