Death by Association

Former FBI agent was twelve when she and her best friend were abducted. Sam escaped. Cindy didn't. Sam grew up to become an FBI agent with the intent to put bad guys behind bars, and to silence Cindy's screams that still echoed in the dark places of her mind. She moved to the West Coast, where she resurrected her life in Portland, Oregon, and started her own company, Harris Securities, as a corporate security specialist. But the victim harbors a sinister secret and as the truth comes to light, it is far more twisted and dangerous than Sam anticipates, and pushes her to the brink when her lover becomes a liability.
