Dear Sun...: An Anthology of Art and Words

'Being friends with the sun is a pleasure. A gift. A chance to see distance and time as nothing compared to light and heat'. These are the words that inspired my class of Year Six pupils to create something really beautiful. This book is a compilation of their amazing, artistic interpretations of the sun, used as a backdrop to David Johnstone's poem 'Friends with the Sun', together with a selection of their insightful and often breathtaking notes to their friend 'the sun'.
