Dawn of a Banshee

From strange sights to nearly stumbling over a corpse, Harper fears that nothing is what it seems. Then she sees her first apparition, begging for her help. Thrust into a world just below the surface of her own, an apprehensive boy seems to show up in all the wrong places, a rogue vampire thins out the student body of Silverburn High, and another bookish boy may have all the answers. Harper doesn't want the pressure, but the apparitions keep pestering her, telling her this is her battle to fight. With nothing but a crossbow and her best friend's steely determination, Harper doubts they can stand against the monster wreaking havoc in Silverburn Hollows, but if she doesn't stand against the threat... who else can?
