Hope Hartcliffe has landed the position of editor in chief at Three Angels River Publishing. She and her fiancé, True Crime Writer Brad Bartelle, buy a grandly-renovated Victorian home atop Ghost Hill, surrounded by colorfully-captivating garden landscaping. The wooded walking path behind their picturesque home leads to an idyllic beach along the river known for legends of angelic apparitions.They soon experience disembodied voices of children. Hope has horrific visions of abusive cruelties in the basement. They come to suspect their home is haunted by the ghosts of foster children who went missing decades ago and were never found. They vow to get to the bottom of the paranormal activity on Ghost Hill, and to secure justice for the victims of heinous crimes against children.
