Currents Beneath the Sea

Currents Beneath the Sea is about three men whose lives paralleled and intertwined over the decades from childhood to manhood to past middle age. They had all shared a similar wildness. They had been fighters. All of them had had a penchant for violence and had chased the glory and high voltage of the boxing ring. It is a chronicle of three boys growing up rough and free, accumulating the physical and psychic scars of their reckless actions. Each of the main characters ultimately searches out the sea and its perils in an attempt to escape the disappointments of ordinary life by challenging his soul over the existential battlefield of his own choosing.
