Overall, this is the story of Mimi’s community, of family, the Parish Priest, her high school friends, moving throughout like tributaries in Mimi’s human river. Midway, a small boy enters to become, first a friend, then a fellow artist, then so much more. The final question is what makes us most content? Finding what one most desires or discovering an unknown source of happiness?
