Crossing Paths

What could be worse than being both a friendless orphan and the community's pariah? Starving to death in back alley ways where no one would notice or care about your death is one thing. For Soren, though, things manage to get much worse. Thrown into the confusing world of a small, yet powerful organization playing with the balance of light and dark, Soren is surrounded by people who couldn't care less about him or would like nothing more than to watch him get himself killed, with few exceptions. He finds out things about himself that he never wanted to know. He does things he never wanted to do. And yet, he builds friendships that may just pass the bloody tests of time, horror, grief, and agony. He may have finally found a place where abandonment can no longer touch him. He may have found a place and people where he belongs.
