Criminal to CEO

In a world where an ex-convict is supposed to struggle with life, reaping no fruit from it, hope is lost. I did not let my past define me. I knew that the mistakes I made were lessons and not life sentences. I had longed for better things in my life, the happy thing. And so, I prepared a vision of the future that I wanted to see and let it affect my "now." Strengthened and driven by the mistakes of the past and the lessons present in the moment, I held on to the sliver of hope of a better future, the light I could see at the end of the tunnel. The wait was worth it; it always has been. This is me helping anyone who is going through the uncertainty of the future, anyone who has seen life from a perspective similar to mine.
