First in a series of Country Wives who were married to at least two Company Men. Marguerite Carbeaux (sometimes called Marguerite Sauteuse) was the country wife of Peter "Bostonais" Pangman. They had one son named Pierre "Bostonais" Pangman. Marguerite Carbeaux was married a second time in the manner of the county to Antoine Pelletier. Antoine Pelletier and Marguerite had six known children. Joseph Assiniboine aka Pelletier may have been Antoine's first child with an unknown mother. He is not included in this book.
