This short best-of was issued to mark Merle Haggard's 1994 induction into the prestigious Country Music Hall of Fame, and includes some of the songs that got him there, like the barroom classic "I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink," the tearjerker "Silver Wings," and the rootsy, traditional-sounding "Farmer's Daughter."
