Based on the original Bram Stoker legend, instead of the many cinema versions which preceded this one, Count Dracula finds Christopher Lee as the vampire, growing more youthful as the story progresses. Only Dr. Van Helsing (Herbert Lom) knows the truth of the evil count's machinations.
