Corey Conquers Covid is a wonderful and timely exploration of a child's need to fight back against the pandemic that has turned his world upside down for 18 months. The story blends education with entertainment as Corey first imagines how he would take down this invisible enemy, and then learns, with the help of his supportive family, about a very real way he can help end the pandemic once and for all – if he can find the courage to do so! I think kids will relate to Corey's frustration at the beginning of the story, and will find strength in his bravery as he finally finds a way to help conquer Covid. Gretchen
