Bob returns home after getting divorced. Bob has an old flame who has returned home too. Bob's old love pursues him aggressively. Everyone that knows Bob and his old girlfriend are convinced a reconciliation is inevitable. None of the local girls dare to start a relationship with Bob because of his impending reuniting with his old flame. Brandy is back in town, too, with her young daughter. The local men feel that Brandy's little girl is too much baggage. Brandy and Bob's loneliness overcome their prejudices and fit together perfectly. Brandy's little girl becomes the big winner.
