Yet in an unexpected, daring, and ultimately successful commando raid by the Dominion and their CoProsperity Sphere allies, targeting Anansi's fortified base of operations near the coast of Northern Europe, Anansi is killed. Defeated, out of ammo, Anansi's garrison forces retreat into the warren's of the complex, and as the huge underground facility is cleared room by room, regular Dominion and CoProsperity Sphere armed forces arrive to reinforce the commandoes. In the aftermath of his demise, Anansi's now ex-Chief of Security - Tanner Gray - and his ex-Special Operations Director - the wily and impatient Abram Priest - must both deal with the crushing military defeat, and execute Anansi's final just-in-case-I-should-die plan.
