Verity, Mamrie, and Farrah are a trio of powerful witches who have dedicated their lives to ridding the world of monsters. Their Victorian Gothic house is home to a collection of creatures that are kept locked away from prying eyes. The girl's lead a complicated life, and it's about to get even more entangled.
Two attractive guys are now living next door. Farrah's powers are becoming uncontrollable, and she doesn't know how to stop them and Verity's keeping secrets about the trip she went on to the Amazon.
Unbeknownst to Farrah and Mamrie, the day Verity returns home, she receives a vision showing that most of the tribe she stayed with in the Amazon are now dead. She's not sure it's real. Until Ebony shows up. The leader of the tribe, Ebony's hellbent on revenge and accuses Verity of stealing a powerful artifact.
Verity embarked on the journey with the specific goal of obtaining the artifact but claims to have left without it. Even if she had taken it, how would it have killed Ebony's people as Ebony seems to imply? The more Verity tries to unravel the mystery, the more questions she has.
